Long, hard ride yesterday. Probably one of my hardest rides yet. For this one, I hooked up the bob trailer to the mountain bike and rode the 60 mile route though Dakota County. I loaded the trailer with 30 pounds of weight and pulled that.

I've done this route several times on my road bike, and generally I can do it in about 4 hours. Given my average speed with this same setup on a railroad trail the previous week, I estimated that it would take me about 6 hours to do the Dakota route. Its all road, no gravel, but its quite hilly. I got into the granny ring a couple of times. Anyway, with only minor stops, I finished in 5 hours and 15 minutes (~63 miles) for just under 12 mph average.
